not sure of using them will cause me to be sued by the payday loan companies. Does anyone have any advice or experience with this sort of thing?

use your rebate to catch up. dont get caught into ANOTHER company that will pay them for you that will just continue the cycle! try and maybe get a loan from someone at least the interest would be less and you could catch up. dont get stuck with another company. i did payday loans and luckily got my tax return and paid them all off..VOWING to now get stuck again. worst case scenario would be try to apply for a small personal loan, one that would cover those and give you a little something to start fresh with. it may be expensive but if your disciplined it will work out in the end.

Your best bet is with a real bank. If you can qualify for a secured loan, get enough to pay off the payday sharks THEN STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

Keep a record of all written communication that you receive and that you send in a file folder. If you are sued you will have proof of your efforts to resolve the issue.
